Silva's in Hampstead was a bit of a random find. We were strolling round the neighbourhood when behold there is a restaurant on Heath street which is so inclined that the building seems to be suspended in mid air. The cuisine being Portuguese was another surprise because you don't really get much Portuguese around London. I was curious to find out what Portuguese tastes like anyway. There was a lot of fish involved. We had a massive bouillabaisse like fish stew which also tasted a lot like bouillabaisse and was very much to my liking.
On the downside the design was quite conventionally uninteresting and we did get a tummy ache shortly after our visit. However I do tend to contribute that ache to overindulgence or greed as some like to call it.
